Over €446,000 for Waterford under 2025 CLÁR Programme Measure 1

Minister and Fine Gael TD John Cummins has welcomed this morning’s announcement that over €446,000 has been awarded for Waterford under 2025 CLÁR Programme – Measure 1.
CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd Riachtanais) or Funding for Small-Scale Rural Projects is a targeted investment programme which provides funding for small-scale - infrastructural projects in rural areas that have suffered the greatest levels of population decline. CLÁR is just one piece of the Department’s Rural Development Investment Programme, which provides a package of coordinated and complementary supports for rural areas.
Speaking on the announcement Minister Cummins said: “The €446,002 announced this morning is another display of this governments continued commitment to improving community facilities across rural Waterford. The €446,002 will be asignificant boost for the seven communities across Waterford, these groups are proactive, do great work for their communities and I’m delighted to see them being supported in today’s announcement.

Minister Cummins concluded: “I want to sincerely thank my Fine Gael colleague Minister Jerry Buttimer and his team for supporting these applications, they’re great causes that do fantastic work in Waterford and I look forward to seeing these project come to fruition.”
